St Peters is a family run garden centre situated in the heart of Worcester. They aim to offer quality products, high standards of customer service and personalised gardening advice.
In 2022, I consulted on a creative strategy for refreshing their branding, helping the business to align their visuals with their values. Undertaking market research and a brand audit, I assessed what was happening in the industry and how St Peters could position themselves for growth. Close collaboration ensured that the solution would be effective across the business.
Key recommendations for transforming the St Peters brand:

Logo
The iconic ‘daisy’ logo was left untouched, as it has such brilliant customer recognition after so many years of continuous use. It was vital that any new brand elements blend seamlessly with existing signage and collateral.

Colour
The original triadic colour palette was shouting 'value-led' brand. We added depth and contrast by expanding the brand colour palette to include a range of neutrals, greens and warm accents.

Typography
We handpicked the perfect typefaces to support the brand values by asking questions like "What does a happy font look like anyway?"

Point of Sale Templates
Flexible Point of Sale templates mean that signage can be updated by the relevant department team, so pricing and offers are always accurate, and ensuring a consistent visual experience across the store.

Illustration
Crafting a bespoke in-house illustration style is a premium and considered touch –consistent, engaging, with a satisfyingly tactile aesthetic.
